Awesome idea! I have an idea for you that can maybe help this thing grow quicker. Now... I'm just thinking out loud really. It might be a dumb idea, but I'll let you be the judge of that. Somewhere on your site, create a page called "How To Get The Most Out Of Your Listing"... or something like that. Educate your customers. One recommendation for this page is to tell your visitors NOT TO IGNORE craigslist. Instead, tell them how they can drive traffic to their video listing (on your site) by using Craigslist. Here's what I mean: One of your users has posted a video selling their gym bench. Imagine if this user submits an ad on their local craigslist. In this ad, they would talk about the gym bench, include a picture of the gym bench, and also add a picture of the video still (screen shot of the video they posted on your site). At the end of the craigslist ad, they include a link to their listing on your site. Something like... To see a video of the actual gym bench for sale, head to this link: [the unique link to their listing here] Basically, tell them to piggy back off of the massive traffic and eyeballs that craigslist can generate to their listing. You can even JV with someone who offers CraigsList Submission Services. Tell your visitors that they can get "maximum exposure" by posting ads in multiple cities on craigslist. All these ads from your users will not only promote the stuff they are trying to sell, but they will also promote your website at the same time. Again... Just an idea
