With Mrgeek. Of all the page rank prediction tools, that one is the only one that tells the truth of page rank prediction! All others are a waste of time, offer nothing of help.
I ran this one side-by-side with two other last night, of the three: this was the only one that could make a determination on a new domain/website; this was the only one that didn't come back with skewed data (RB showing sites going from PR4 to PR10 ); and, this seemed to be the only one with some orginal, critical thinking done on the frontend, but better yet, he's not done with it which he knows and readily admits. I found it to be a little "optimistic" on a few sites that I ran, but he did say +/- 1 so that's to be expected. Very well done and the best work in progress I've seen of any tool in a very long time!
Part of our issue if Im not wrong is the amount of links on each page that have a PR0 versus some links having PR3,4 We have tried to reduce the links to a minimum but really thats it. All our sites do link to each other and all seem to have PR3. I have yet to see google rank us with a PR4. As I look at some of our competition sites that are only 6-1 year old they already have a PR4 which I know sometimes this happens but well moan why not Swapshop Classifieds? We seem to have the back links, traffic and links to good PR3-4 sites. Traffic wise all SEs some to visit us daily and hits are 3000-5000 daily. I know PR is not the most important thing to concern ourselves about but it would be good to see our site move up.
Great tool - the whole predicting PR thing is only 1 of the thing it does. The estimate was less than 1 different from the current PR of my established sites - so a guess is that your tool is probably reasonably accurate. It is nice and fast and shows the number of links from the chosen list of sites - always a plus when you are link-building.
