Just wondered if anyone has heard of or tried this network out? receivelinks dot com I saw the post at LV and it seems as though they're trying to take it to a new level? Excerpt from Home-page. <IMO> Any comments on the pros and cons of joining a new network from a user's perspective? They already have over 100 members (LV er's jumping ship). I have concluded that the all mighty G has something in there new algo that is looking at how real votes (links) are and where they are coming from to put it simply. I also think that Google is detecting alot of the link schemes out there...mostly with software. When these artificial links are detected they are AT LEAST devalued to almost, if not "0", perhaps even a penalty. So I think these detected links are considered grey to black as far as G is concerned. </IMO> Are new link networks easier to scope out for Google? Cheers, H
Competition is good for business and great for users. It looks like leap frogging LV with tighter categories and better "user" choice / control. Google may or may not detect such "clusters". At present I don't see devaluation - I have some sites in such networks and so far some of the "better" links do show up in G link query. By applying strict categories I expect Mats examples for real estate sites showing omega 3 and being "downed" to be no longer effective. Although I have grave doubts that that is what is actually picked up on his examples - there are probably structural and other hints that make this far easier it was just an example too good to miss.
