A new look for my blog

Hi guys, I just finished revamping one of my blogs.

Please tell me what you think about the new look Directories Blog

 

First impressions is that all that black and white is a bit stark, also I found the main centre column a little too wide to read comfortably.

 

I like it a lot, the gradient adds just enough as to not be too plain but I definitely suggest adding a professional logo.

Thanks for the comment, the width of the centre column really depend on our resolution since it is a fluid design. Of course it has that disadvantage on large resolutions (above 1280*1024) it will look too wide.

I'm liking it. Very clean, professional look.

However, I do think it would add to the look of the blog if you had a proper logo and header. Something more than just text.

 

I like it, however:

1) As you said, it becomes really wide on large resolutions.

2) Please, stick to the conventional color for the feeds' icon - orange. That's what people expect, that's what you should use.

3) The post meta data needs more work. The background color doesn't work well since it's so close to the links' color.

I have disagree with some of these people, I like the look of your site.

It's plain but it's got something to it Maybe you need a logo.
