A New Idea for a Site.

Alright. I've been bored, and while I'm waiting for my other site is growing (hopefully) I thought of another idea for a site. I was thinking of making a site called sotwarenoob.com, or a title of that sort, and on the site I would provide downloads to completly free, but very useful, software (not trials) for any novice computer user. If I put ads on this site do you think I oculd make some good ammount of money, of course after the site grew in popularity.

 

Possibly. But if your offering free programs it is going to be a hard sale.

 

Yes, if you had enough traffic, you should be able to make plenty of money from that type of site.

yah it's a good idea and I think sites like that already exist so I don't think thats new.

Better yet you go for software reviews if you like. Review all those softwares that are on the TOP of most free download sites and put some download links.

If you get a unique review on those I think SE will love your site...

 

There are hundreds if not thousands of these types of sites. But any ways to your question yes you could make money ANY website can make money if you know how to monitize it I suggest you read up on advertising and monitization before you venture into this project. Start a bplan and stick to it

 

Adsense is a good option for your site.
