Both the designs are good.....the first one looks really professional...while the 2nd one looks more jazzy...and fit for depicting vibrancy...

Btw...what purpose did you make them for?

    Regards,

I just make them for fun :D

I dont sell them if thats what you mean... I wish I could lol.

I dunno anybody who'd buy them... maybe if printed onto a canvas at a really high quality.
Make a good wall hanging maybe?

But yeah, just for fun, sometimes I up the resolution and canvas size and use as a background for my screen... thats it really.

they they're so EASY to generate, he could post them all day and still have a hard time finding any application beyond using it as a desktop background.

Fractals are beautiful, fractals are fun, but fractals are often limited and impractical.

DeviantArt has a very very large fractal art section for your inspiration.

I'm not hating, I love fractal artwork and think they're one of the most beautiful marriages of art and mathematics we have.

But at the same time, I don't see how difficult it is to make these, and I recognize how little artistic merit an image like this has, even though it looks nice.

If art is human expression, then you are simply expressing a complex mathematical formula. And as neat as that is, I don't find the message terribly compelling or meaningful. If we're calling it art it's not much, as beautiful as it may look.

Try Fyre, from that link I sent navi.cx or whatever. It's a great program for generating this sort of thing. Also, I used a program called XaOS which is a realtime fractal explorer you might enjoy because if its interactivity.

Anyway, I'm not hating here, please don't take me wrong.

I use a problem called Chaosope, best fractal rendering program there is in my opinion.

I'm not claiming that theres anything more than what they are, I'm not saying that I've designed them from scratch or that I've put loads of time into them. Just that I love doing them.

I studdied Fine Art & Design for nearly 4 years, Majoring in Graphics Design, I know what the meaning behind human expression is.
I wasn't projecting my feelings onto anybody, making these renders are my expression of my humanity.

Also Given the number of parameters used with each render, if you were to limit your choice to 20 values for each of them, it allows 20*30 combinations, which means you would have virtually one chance out of 1,073,741,824,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 to reproduce a strange attractor without knowing its original parameters. It would be like searching for a needle in a thirty dimensional stack of hay. So creating 'Nice' looking renders from the attractors you've found isnt always easy.
So I disagree, Quite abit of Artistic merit went into finding the clusters that I used for those fractals.

Sorry to have angered you so

Really nice fractal C4Ds. They would look good in sigs.

    Good job!

C4D's = Cinema 4D..they are used to add certain effects while creating signatures and other artwork :)

cant comment on any of your work because i am currently cut off from msn, photobucket and a few other sites cause of the broadband wires that got cut in the sea :(

Oh right, I didn't use Cinema 4D to make them though, or was the point that I should use them in C4D to make sigs?
