I have recently started developing and creating an advertising website that is also going to benefit charities. Yes, it is a pixel buying website, but I think it will rise above the rest. Anyways, does anybody have any ideas how I could market such a site? I am trying to engage advertisers and encourage them that this is a great opportunity. The website, if you are interested: http://www.50gforcharity.com - The goal is to eventually raise $50,000 for charity.
why do you think it will raise above all the rest? I'm not trying to sound negative here, just asking. If advertisers are going to spend their money with you, you'll have to be able to give value. What's your traffic plan? I see that you have a blog, so I assume that's one of the ways. I would give people some gifts in return, like they're spending a little cash for charity, but they're getting something they may want or need. And what's the percentage that you're giving to charity? (and which charity are you going to help?) greetz, jobic
@jobic: "And what's the percentage that you're giving to charity? (and which charity are you going to help?)" All of those questions are answered here: http://www.50gforcharity.com/faq.html - 25% of advertising is going to charity, 25% is going to be raffled back to members, and the rest, or more, will be reinvested to increase traffic. @bobchrist: Thanks, I will take a look at that site. @nick2007: Thanks for the encouragement. I'm going to keep it going as long as I can. @KeyboardHustler: A better layout for what? Thanks for the input everyone!
