Yeah it's not a new browser.

I started using Flock once my firefox got messed up. I was able to import everything from firefox, plus it uses the firefox engine.

It's just a heavily modified/customized browser, probably based on Firefox or IE.

if that's true, then we should pay no attention to it, it is a jock of FF.

I came accross it a bit ago, it uses FF2 backend with additional functionality from what I was reading. They will be adding FF3 functionality soon. Worth a shot if you just want more functionality but still keeping FF.

"Flock is powered by Mozilla, the same fast and secure engine that powers the Firefox browser!" Quoted of the site.

A new browser? Crazybrowser has been my favorite for years.
    Automatically blocks popups.
    Open multiple tabs.
    Save multiple tabs as groups.
    Complete contro.l

I heard of Flock before and from what I understand it never took off.
It looks great but I guess I will always be a Firefox woman. Perhaps I would use it to check web design compatibilities though.

Never knew about the social thing though. Might test it out sometime :)

it's meant for social people, mostly used by social networking marketeers.

even Ed Dale from thirtydaychallenge.com uses and recommends it. I use too sometimes.. it's just I don't like the interface.. too lazy to change the theme.. Lol

I like it. A lot of my stuff is published to my blogs with Flock. Still use Firefox for most stuff though. But its nice to see more choice than simply FF and IE. Thats why I use Opera as well. That slick :)
