Oh My dear Non-Muslim brothers and sisters,

Do not please judge the Islam as the muslims around you show the example of their life style. The Muslim (Maximum) are not following the Islam {as per holy Qurna and Sunnah of the Prophet(Peace be upon him) }, so the form of Islam which the muslim keep in front of you that is not the right virtue and spirit of actual Isam. If you know the reality of actual Islam, please go through the authenticated Islamic book which are written strictly on the light of Quran and Hadith. Or you can read the explantion of Quranic verses. Don't simple believe writings of some authors who do not have deep knowledge in the religion. If you realy know about the world's one of the largerst population religion you have to take some pain and then only you can take the right decision about Isam.

You're wasting your time friend. The culture at DP is very different...

Religion is Out! Atheism is the new IN thing here!

Can you prevent newspapers all over he world from using the term "Islamic" when they refer to terrorism?

Can you ask them not to print images of rag-tag Taliban and Suicide-vest wearing Iraqis when referring to Muslims?

There is a perception that cannot change, no matter what you do...

See what i know about islam and what the people and media telling about islam is totally different so i placed a message here. Whether it is effective or not that is not my primary look after. Be optimistic. Attitude makes a lot.

I think it is a nice gesture, thank you. I'll be honest, I will never convert to Islam, as I am agnostic. Sometimes though I am just curious about the religion. Recently, I found a forum with muslim people that talk about Islam. One thing that confuses me is the different sects, do you view these muslims as liberal or traditional? I guess I kind of relate to some things they say, so I was wondering if they were liberal muslims. Kind of weird question I guess, but something I was wondering.

The problem with Shias is that, there is very little difference between them and Sunni's but both sects make such a big deal out of it and call each other names and keep very divided...it's very stupid.

I don't know much about the different sects, but I try to learn. One type of Muslim sect I like is the Sufi. One time I told a Muslim on the forum that, and he didn't like them at all. He said they were not real Muslims. I guess I like them because they seem like very peaceful people. Then with the Shias and Sunnis, I don't know how they are different from each other either. I guess I just like the Shia forum because they are nice and joke around. They don't act all strict and severe. So I was wondering if the OP might say they are not real Muslims, since someone said that about the Sufi Muslims. Kind of confusing, but very interesting thread.:)

I am sure you can find that book soon... :)

The book has been translated by many different people, I'd suggest Yusuf Ali.

PM me your address, and I could gift one to you..:)

Hi friends if you read the holy book quran with right approach and good spirit your head will automatically bend down in front of Allah (swt) with regards. You will find Allah, the great loves us a lot beyond our imagination. Allah (swt) loves his creatures 70 times more than a mother loves her child.

Just ignore him, he seemed more out to create havoc rather than have a proper discussion in the forum.

OK, There is something else I was curious about. Muslims say they have to pray 5 times a day. I was wondering what you pray about? Do the 5 prayers need to be about something specific? Do you have to recite certain words, or do you just pray about anything you want? Why 5 times a day? Why not 4 or 6?

Just because something is old, doesn't mean it doesn't have value.

This is a pretty good question. I know that the first and last have to do with the times of sunrise and dusk. But the other ones, I don't know.

From watching people pray, I'd say the routine seems pretty consistent, although the prayers are silent, so I have no idea what was being said.

What do muslims think about the Druze? Are they considered muslim by the mainstream muslims ? I have heard many muslims refer to them as not being muslim even though they feel they are. They seem to get along really well with both muslim and christians as far as religious tolerance from my experience with them.
later dudes its time for palm sunday mass :)
