A Madman Lurks In Your Shadows!

Hello all.

Just got here. Ok, not technically. I've been reading posts for at least an hour. How dare you occupy so much of my worthless time with such interesting chatter.

Thought I'd take a minute to at least say hello. Not sure how much time I'll be spending here, but I felt rude just listening in on all your conversations without at least saying hello.

So ... hello.

I already have questions, but I'll hold off ... and save them for a more appropriate place. Just looking for an alternative way to make some cash.

You could say I am in a "desperate financial situation", but I've been living in it so long now that it just seems like, well, life. ...and that makes life suck.

Something must change. The local job market sure isn't much help.

Been toying with a few things for a little while now, but not doing much good. For example: I have a few vids on youtube that get good comments ... from the tiny trickle of traffic & views. I HAD a indie rock podcast that was more of a hobby, but it was hosted ... and I ditched everything that was a negative number on the balance sheet. Had to. Now I'm moving to free resources (bummer).

If you put together the clues - totally broke, had an indie rock podcast, insane - well, I'm obviously an artist. I write. I play. I sing. ...and that's about all I can afford to do.

Kinda sucks, ya know?

Funniest thing is that some of the people on the music sites I hang out on seem to think I'm going to go somewhere. They say crazy stuff like "once the right person hears you EVERYTHING is going to change." lol

Yeah, right. I'm not buying it. I think they're full of it ... so I'm looking for an alternate path.

Oh, one more thing... If you DO hit my site and find the logo (top left) offensive ... you're probably not going to like the rest of it either, so just close it. The marketing niche is just too dynamic. In music forums people love this stuff. But that's a whole different world. For some reason I fear I'm going to encounter haters here. Yeehaw. lol
