Two month ago, I read an interesting thread! Someone called COMTEC promised in his thread: GOOGLE Domination Package - Rank on the 1st Page Guaranteed! For just 99,95 US $ So I transfered the money and I am still waiting for a result. In the beginning everything sounded fine, I got a reply with a keyword research and other suggestions...but since then... ... nothing! There was no increase in SERP, not even one place since starting his job. I tried several times to contact COMTEC under following email adresses: 'support@comtecenterprise.com' (not available anymore) and 'support@seoprostore.com' (also not available anymore). So my question is, how can someone who is a bogus get 32 i-Traders on DP?? I thought i-Traders are a kind of a measurement, how trustworthy or professional someone is... I wouldn't give someone with 2 or 5 i-Traders 100,- US $. But when I see that someone has 32, it looks for me reliable. But maybe I am wrong. However, it doesn't make your site trustworthy and there should be a safeguard to prevent people like COMTEC to B***S**t others... Just my two cents...aehhh.. 100 dollar...
I'm sorry to hear that but before you buy from someone you should check the itrader details. That guy has 11 itraders from buyers (one is negative) and 35+ (somehow ) itraders from sellers. So actually he has 10 positive feedback for his service and rest are for his purchases. Of course, you can't predict what'll happen as there are positive feedbacks and comments for the service. Try to contact with him via private message again, if you are sure that he is not working on your order, open a dispute at PayPal. If you didn't send it via Paypal, then this is your fault, always think about your payment's security first. If you waited more than 45 days, as far as i know, you can't open a dispute anymore.
No one can stop people from scamming. The iTrader system doesn't mean someone is trustworthy in all cases, it just means they've completed a number of deals, either being successful (+1, or "Green") or un-successful (-1, or "Red"), scamming can happen anywhere, anytime, no matter how many iTraders the person has. Obviously the more positive iTrader someone has the more trustworthy they are, however someone can have 1000 positive iTrader and still scam, however it is highly unlikely but not impossible. My suggestion to you is to not pay first depending on the service/product that is being offered. Good luck.
Hmm...Talvehtia, it seems that I didn't grasp the concept of i-Traders. I didn't know, that you can get negative i-Traders also. However, if I check COMTEC's i-Trader profile, it shows: Feedback Score: 32 Positive Feedback: 97.1% Members who left positive: 33 Members who left negative: 1 Total positive feedback: 34 I didn't bother to read all the good reviews and so I didn't realised, that others could give you positive i-Traders also for paying a service fast, so getting actually a positive i-Trader as buyer, which has nothing to do with one's service trustworthyness. Got another email address from his profile and tried it...no reply yet. Will wait and see...
Right, it does not mean that they will not scam forever. They can be good first, to get itraders then only start scamming. I have met a few.
Well Rank on the 1st Page Guaranteed! is always a Scam... because no one can give guarantee for Google results and for some keywords you need years and $1,000s to spend to get on the first page
I traders aren't moderated therefore anything can go so i wouldn't think much of it. Look at the person overall and not base your opinion on itrader only.
iTraders are a gauge for nothing. Someone might have been faking them somehow or buying them. I don't think they mean anything really. Sorry to say.
