A lot of blogs point to the same website?

    Hello,

I build a lot of blogs and putsome links inside which point to the same website. The blogs are not located at different class c IP address.

Is it good to do it in this way? Will search engine think that I am building a blog farm?

Would it be better if I link to the blog site first and then redirect to the main site? e.g. http://www.blogsite.com/link.php --> http://www.mainsite.com

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Its no use trying to get links that way mate! Most probably these links were never get counted and if you continue doing this, your site may get whacked in the SERPs.

If you are going to use black hat methods you need to at the least put the blogs on different ip's. If this is a site that you want to stick around in the search engines I don't recommend what you are doing.

    Thanks a lot.

I changed it. I didn't directly link to the site. I link to the blog site and then redirect to the main site instead.

I don't do BH, they are WH sites.

    So what?

Even if Blackhats do this, what difference does it make. If he gets the blogs indexed, the links will count. There's no penalty for doing this. The very worst that can happen is that the blogs will drop out of the index, and your link will disappear. And again, so what? Blackhats do pretty much the same thing that White Hats do, except they automate it.

As far as Class-C IP's I don't think it's as big of a factor as one would think. If you're liberally spreading your links out everywhere, then it doesn't really matter if some of your links are on the Same IP. I've got a client who I bought 1,000 directory submissions, a bunch of blog posts, etc. And then I built a dozen websites hosted on the same server a few months later primarily to point to the target website. And the website has done just fine.

I'm assuming he's not talking about tens of thousands of blogs. Because that's what black hat's do. If he created a dozen or two, once again, who cares? I never heard mentioned that he had created a script to create all those blogs.

I would say creating lots of blogs can be very white hat. 10-100 or so. When you're creating 10,000 in a day, that's more black hat. You can't do that unless you automate it.

    IMHO,

    M

It's only around 100 blogs point to the same web site within a very short period of time.

After I did that. I found the ranking for some of my blogs dropped. I don't know whether it's related to where I link to. But I just changed it(not point to the site directly) and I will see how's things going.

proof of that? 1,000's a day maybe not but a hundred or so a day is no problem.
