A logo "update " ... why not ??

im not sure if any1 suggested this before , i searched the forum but appearnetly no one did ..

umm my suggestion is to update the current logo a lil bit .. maybe make it more web 2.0ish , we are in one of the biggest webmasters forum " i believe " .. maybe the logo should be just a little bit more modern than the current one " as much as i love it " .. maybe a bit glossier and a web 2.0 feel to it ?

i made a small changes on the logo to get my point across .. but im sure many professional logo designers here in dp would be more than happy to participate in making digital point's logo or in updating it !

Neat idea...

But your example logo, to me atleast, looks a little too "batman-ish"... It seems a little too "in your face"... Like instead of infractions, you'll get shot for spamming...

 

I like the old logo just the way it is ... but shooting spammers - now there is an idea whose time has come!

please don't get me wrong .. i dont mean to insult the owner of dp in anyway as some1 stated by leaving me an -rep , i just think dp forum could use an update to make it a bit more modern , just thought to suggest this

briefly : whether im right or wrong , my intension is just to improve the forum nothing more & nothing less
