A little summary of my last month:

My adsense income has increased substantially from around $30 a month to $120 a month. (where on track for $120 this month).

- I have been recieving 20 uniques a day through my sig link on DP forum.

But the main increases in traffic can be attributed to keyword optiimization using word tracker.

It is possible to increase traffic significantly within a few days using a combination of word tracker and directory submissions. Sign up for a free trial with word tracker, and then follow these steps.

1) Type in your keywords. Word tracker will bring up detailed information on popularity, competition and other keywords that you could optimize.
2) Record a group of keywords that are recieving traffic and currently have no competition. These keywords usually get around 100 uniques a month.
3) For each keyword that has no competition, use free directories, to sumbit your website/blog. There is 2 key factors you need to follow here. The first is to make sure that the keyword that had no competition, is typed precisely into the title of the directory submission. Make sure that the directory is only based on one way links, doing this will avoid search engine punishment in rankings.
4) You will now instantaneously begin to recieve traffic for those keywords that were being searched, that had no competition. As the directory submission title will now appear when the keyword is searched, because there is no competition. Try searching for free directories that approve listings quickly.

This is rapid SEO. With no competition, you should recieve traffic for the keywords that Word tracker detailed. I stay with the ratio of 2 directory submissions for the one keyword. This is better, as it creates backup if the directory does not approve the submission (rarely happens). Also may lead to your title being listed quicker, making you recieve traffic for those keywords quicker.

You can do it through the title, you have to go to settings i "think". Put a meta tag, in with the title. Also make sure heaps of keywords are throughout your text.

Hey thanks for teh article, for some reason I never thought of targetting the smaller keywords. My main keyword has some 200 million results so the competition is quite stiff.

 

Yeh well the thing about smaller keywords is its rapid SEO. And with no competition your pretty much assured to get the traffic. With the bigger keywords, you have a lot of competition.

Targeting the smaller keywords is easier to me. It comes natural after a while.

 

What is a good ratio for small keywords in Word tracker in comparison to search results in Google. For example: Word tracker 45 and Google 2,000,000 pages?
