First you have the right idea and coding talent. However, the ads in the middle really is annoying as it seems like you are over doing it. Second, the flash banner is a really cool idea but because it is very long it almost seems like it is an advertisement and most people will overlook it. You are headed on the right direction thou, just organizing your layout a bit more and you'll be good.

Nice looking site...But you should move your site description above the ad sense...Also place the sign up somewhere besides the bottom...Nice site but last thing anyone wants to see is ad sense before they can find out what your site is about..Just my opinion

I'm testing out suggestions currently and removing ads from the front page is one of them.
