Hello all DP members. I realize that this is a great forum to interact with some highly skilled people who have years of experience on SEO. I want to ask a question about backlinks. I would really appreciate any help.

If I have a blog (blog A) and it has (let's say) 10,000 backlinks.
I take another blog (blog B) of mine, and place its link on (blog A).

How many backlinks do I get for (blog B)?
do I get 10,001 backlinks? or do I get just 1 backlink.
If I get 1 backlink, then is it a strong link I mean will it affect my SEO in a much better way, or is it like just another normal backlink?

I know this is sort of confusing, but I hope that you all have answers to it.

    Thank you in advance.

Based on my knowledge of backlinks it will only count as 1 back link. Google is getting very smart and can detect these types of links, it should still help blog B's link juice.

How many links you get and how many links count are not mutually exclusive. Google is smart enough to know a sitewide link so will not count all links from the same domain.
