A little help, please

I am needing a website review for www.geeksonsteroids.com.

I just need the home page and the pages the three banner ads go to at this time because the rest of the site is a real mess as we are trying to add pages and move stuff around. I have ignored this part of my business for the last couple years and have focused on other things. We have now removed all the other sites and the only service we will be doing is website designing.

We are about to start getting links to the site as well as start a PPC campaign for the site. I need help setting up the home page so it is able to turn a customer into a client as well as any ideas on setting up other pages.

    For example,

I'm going to create a page about “custom web site designers” and will bid on the keyword “custom web site designers” and send that traffic to my page about custom web site designers. Should we set it up with the same banners as are on the home page or should we create different banners for that page.

Anyway, tear it apart because I am about to start spending a lot of money on it and need it to be the best it can be.

Thanks so much for your time.

    Hello,

I like the design. It's cool.

    Here is what I think.

1- Picture under the logo is too big.
    http://www.geeksonsteroids.com/header-myimages/logo_r3_c1.jpg

    - I think that whole table needs to shrink a bit. I think you can make use of 1024 resolution if you are not using it now. The site looks very squished.

    - I would add a comparison for the packages you offer....you know like a a column table with checks on each feature or a value in each corresponding cell etc.

    - Too much info is on the first page. Again I would take the most important info and put it first. I would suggest you increase the size on those tables to possible 1024 for the width.

-...um maybe a dhtml menu kind of thing for all those links in the navbar?

That's all i can think for now. Remember these are just my suggestions and my not suit your business, but I gave you insight from a consumer prospective.

    Good Luck

    - Why does the top menu have different links to the left menu? Might get people lost a bit... Wait I just found a third menu? Confused

    - Other than that I love the top part in black, simple and straightforward: "Call Now" :)

    - The image below that though, like camel101 says: too big!

    Wow! Great graphics.

The "call now" font could be better.

I don't understand the mental association between some business-looking professionals and "geeks on steroids".

Regarding the logo - should the blue semi-circle be considered part of the mouse cable? Because it isn't really that obvious, as it's of a different color.

All-in-all not bad at all. ;)

I like the site, it looks very professional.

I notice theres a grey line going through the laptop image, is this meant to be there? Also I think the "Call Now" text at the top corner of the page is a little unprofessional compared to the rest of the site, maybe try a different font or change the font size a little?

Maybe add some rollover effects to the top menu or navigation bar?

I like the site though, good luck with it.

We had the problem with the grey line in IE and I had thought they had gotten it fixed. I will look into that again.

I will have them add a mouse over affect and do something with the font on the call now.

    Thanks so much,

    Janeth

I have changed most everything but the header is still a little big, I was thinking about getting rid of the computer and trying to make it a little smaller.

How does the call now look?
