Hi guys, as you can see I'm new here but I'd like to ask for some advice. My group is holding an international Prank Video Contest, and we have almost no idea what we're doing as far as marketing this thing. Since we are in a very internet savvy community we have pulled off some major stunts, such as getting it featured on the frontpage of thepiratebay.org, which got us almost 300k hits in the few days it was up. We had it frontpaged at a few other friendly places so far, but now we're all tapped out of favors and get maybe 200-300 hits a day. I don't think a CPC campaign would be ideal for this sort of thing, but we do have a bit of money to spend of advertising if need be. We'd rather not, and put all the money towards the contest's prizes, in hopes that it'll add further incentive to submit videos.
