I'm thinking of adding a web store to my website, I use webs.com so it would be easy to set up with my paypal account so no issue there I think.

What I'm wondering is what are the legal things I need to do? Is there forms and things I need to get and fill in before I can sell things?

Is there pages I should add to my site like a terms of service or other information that is needed before you can sell things?

I don't think there are any particular forms taht have to be set up. But of course there may be regulations in your country that 'should' be followed. for example, especially tax! But just keep records of everything you do and it should be fine.

Terms of service is always good to have setup so customers know exactly before hand waht your terms are, so its probably a good idea to do that.

If you are selling some product you made yourself or something along those lines, make some sort of indemnity disclaimer as well, because who knows, you could get a claim made against you if it damages anything or anyone. Some people are mighty litigous these days!

Thats all I can think of for now, but someone with a more legal background may have some better info

Im with Webs.com myself, and Ive got a "store" page set up too. As far as I know Pay Pal takes care of any refunds that you might have to send back, they send you a notice if someone is not happy and you send them the money back to their Pay Pal account. There arent any forms that I had to fill out to set anything up. It was a very pleasant experience. Very easy to get going.

Thank you very much for the advice guys, I'll set up both an indemnity disclaimer and a terms of service just to be safe. Great to hear that it was easy to set up too, thanks a lot.
