Hello Digital Point Community!

About a year ago I started actively collecting content from the internet with the intent of sharing it with others. I now have collected over 18TBs of content.

So far I've found the sharing environment full of people looking to make money, and not interested in actually sharing. These people include "uploaders" and site owners. These have led to incomplete and disorganized messes of forums filled with dead links.

I've recently opened a forum with the intention of having it be a place where content would be organized, collections would be complete, and links would be protected. I've already had a few mods made to meet this goal, and am in the process of having a few more made. After this I'll be having mods made to protect the links from getting reported.

While accomplishing all this I'm planning on making no money from the site. I've paid for a vBulletin licence, I have a server that costs about $200 a month that I use to collect content I'll be sharing on my forum, and I also pay >$120 ever month for a great personal connection to help uploading.

There will be "VIP" links (not sections, but links) viewable only to certain groups as well as a request process for these people. These will be people who have either contributed money to the forum or have contributed good amounts of content with the clear goal of helping the forum.

Any money made beyond covering server costs will provide servers for dedicated uploaders to use to collect and share content, beyond that the money will go into forum modifications and skins (unless I can find someone interested in teaming up with me or have a skin made beforehand). Past that, I'll be donating the money towards some sort of cause. In all of this I'm hoping to have complete transparency, so that users can truly trust I'm not looking to do this for the money.

I'm here at Digital Point hoping to find either a partner who can help code and/or design the site, uploaders willing to show they are interested in sharing and building something unique, and/or someone who will do these things for money (if I can't find someone interested in being a part of the project).
