Since 2006 I have been trading forex and I've not been consistent both in building my equity as well as my trading frequency. Since 2010 I have been blogging about my trading adventure in the forex niche exclusively. Honestly, both of which don't see any result since they started. But I've not given up yet because of my dreams. I'm a Singaporean living in Malaysia, Horizon Hill to be exact. I hope to move on from Malaysia to Taiwan then Thailand and if my online businesses thrives I wish to move on as mention below. 5 Years From Now I'm looking at making a living online fulltime from my trading business and blogging adventures. From a home in Taiwan to a beach front in Thailand. But most importantly I wish to visit Monte Carlo (before I kick the bucket), a place where James Bond use to visit with his trademark Aston Martin DBS. I'm looking at creating a membership site like Timothy Sykes, with partners giving alerts and signal. I'm looking at partnering with personal development coaches on developing mental strength, cast iron discipline and forming dependable habits for the inconsistent trader. What I Can Contribute To This Forum? In terms of knowledge, I have blogging resources from Problogger, Yaro to John Chow. In terms of SEO, I have Neil Patel. In terms of traffic, I have Kim Roach and paid traffic all star, Chad and Vick. But I can't give advise because I'm not making a living from them. However in terms of trading in the field of Forex. You can ask me anything about trading the forex market but to be transparent, I have yet able to make a living from trading even though I started learning to trade since 2006. Why Am I Here? I can handle your question on 1. If you are successful , why do you take the time out to coach us? Wouldn't you be enjoying the wealth that your business brings you? The reason is high level success regardless what people hear, doesn't always bring the cliche' wealth that everyone assumes comes with it. I can explain what that means: Sometimes when you become successful the ones you beat that were there first become disgruntled and pissed off and have the resources from already being there (in wealth) to gate-keep you out. At 8 yrs old I had a dream to be a rock-star. At 14 yrs old I was playing my first show (party) I couldn't get the big 'record deal' regardless how many demos I sent to 'big record companies' At 21 I had an agent /attorney tell me that the 'big record companies' were only signing people they knew and unless I could come up with $1 million to utilize them as a paid service,they weren't going to look at my stuff regardless how successful it was becoming at clubs/venues. I made my own record company and pursued a National Publishing deal (those are harder to get than a record deal). It took me incremental slow climb at local radio, shows and promotions to finally establish my own privately owned Publishing company at 26 years old so that I could publish my own music. (Lestat Publishing Inc - ASCAP) Now with record company (America United Records) the Publishing,Gavin Tracking, ASCAP royalty tracking and all the hoops and loops one has to legally register,license and jump through in that industry, I was finally as legitimate as Time Warner as far as legal source business model. I didn't have millions to promote my band so it was slow going, but the connections I'd already made at radio with Dj's/radio promoters that liked my music helped. We started in Michigan with radio release. We received a radio award and a few rock radio war wins (just for popularization factor) in 1998 - 2000 We were on stations across USA. We were aired on Capitol Radio (highest ratings rock show in USA and Chris Condayan the producer quoted as also a fan) also 27 yr experience KXXI New Mexico station was quoted as a fan. 12 songs were aired at FM rock radio. The Cd was rated as best rock CD 2000. We were headlining every gig and getting calls from everywhere. We assumed the fight to get there was over. Red Distribution and the 2 other major distributors (the only ones to major stores etc) Refused to distribute our CD because we weren't one of the 4 major record companies. We never received distribution. Within 1 week of that all radio stations were ordered to stop playing our music and any music not on the 4 major playlist. They rode it out for about a month and then were forced to shut it off. Chris Condayan from Capitol Radio told Viacom to "go f**k itself" and they fired him in 2000 for insubordination. It was on radio for 3 years, 12 songs, multiple radio interviews and awards. We were cut off radio, denied distribution and some of the venues owned by large companies involved cancelled our gigs. I still have all reports and accredited status at places like ASCAP (I still get elected by ASCAP Board of Directors every year since Dec 23,1999 verify Lestat Publishing as elected current member (212)621-6000 ASCAP. But with all the success, we're not 'wealthy' because the ones that were already there bumped us completely out and today they still lie about it saying it either never happened or that I had quit. Yet all DJs/Program directors ,including Chris can verify. The credentials that were reported to ASCAP due to airplay and awards accredited me as professional Industry producer,songwriter, record co, national publisher, performer/recording artist,etc. One of my fall-back jobs is a programmer and other. That's why I'm here. Many of my creds even if for your curiosity sake , can be found in ASCAPs Ace/Repertory Records. Publishers: Lestat Publishing.
