Since the list was getting big at this post "http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=2309180" thought it deserves a threat by itself. So here are e list of Web Directories which use black hat link-building technique. hmmlinks.com directorybundle.com dirsolution.com lifetimeurl.com humanediteddir.org Uses black hat technique, from ezone.ae brandswebdirectory.com dirsolution.com dewdirectory.com discountedlinks.com directorybundle.com hdir.org Uses black hat technique, from statisticsbelize.org.bz cheetahfetch.com besthype.com Uses black hat technique, from agu.org More to come later
I do not think this is right. building backlinks to your own site is considered blackhat but that is Google and other search engines job to devalue those links. You are attacking those directory owners with unjustifiable cause. That is someones business that you are regarding as a scam. there is still indexed and recently cached pages on those sites so where is the scam? are you now going to list 99.999% of directories on the web in this thread? What are you trying to accomplish?
1. I have never said that building back-link it is considered a black hat technique. Read it carefully and do some home-work. 2. I am not attacking those directory owners, but their conception. 3. (are you now going to list 99.999% of directories) if they use misleading conception why not? 4. (Where is the scam?) I am glad you haven seen it yet. That means you have a lot of home work to do. 5. (What are you trying to accomplish?) The truth, are you afraid of it?
You don't think its right for others to find out that owners of the directories are scammers. So you think the they should be protected from being seen that they are scammers, dishonest, etc? Wow. Good list!
Why have you just answered my questions with your own questions? All I am asking for is an explaination. You still not provided any justifiable reasons for publically shaming those directory owners.

Ok, I have had a look at add-site-link.com/ and is 100% legitimate. I am guessing the op has personal issues with those directory owner(s) The site itself has nothing remotley close to being a scam or even blackhat. There is a posibility the site was purchased as an expiring domain but that does not mean the directory is worthless. The sites linking to the directory are reasonable and any bad links could of been built by competitors. The site is indexed well in google with a valid pagerank. IMO the op is jelous of those sites and has decided to publically humiliate them. I am seeing way to much of this going on from several members that post in this section, please keep your jelousy issues to yourself. I would like to see this section of digitalpoint to be viewed at more by the moderators as it seems that I am defending general directory owners way to much.
I don't think it's a good business that blaming other ones creation as spam. If somebody feel like this then just do one thing "Ignore" such directories. People are smart enough investing their bucks in submitting paid directories. I must say to all directory owners "Continue the way you are going, let other talk". If somebody is gossiping behind you it means you are progressing. All the best directory owners !!!
Its better if you concentrate on the good quality sites (need some reviews, research finding them) while submitting your site. This way bad ones automatically gets eliminated from your list.
I think that is the best dir, which is naturally Linked. Create a directory and wait for the links, good luck.
I think,You do not think it's Right for others to find out that owners of the directories are scammers. So you think the they should be protected from being seen that they are scammers, dishonest, etc?
