Locate any of those sites that offer an opportunity to post a back-link to your site. Make sure that they don't have the "nofollow" tag associated with their links (You can download the great Firefox extension "NoDoFollow" from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5687 ) to check whether they count for SEO or not. Create a back-link on their forums or any other means of contact, and you will have a back-link from a highly ranked page in terms of PR. Remember not to gratuitously join up and look like a spammer; try to contribute something legitimate or useful or you might get flamed or banned. Happy hunting.

Many of the sites I posted DO have forums; if you check them out in detail you will see that there ARE opportunities to get back links on most of them. The rest is only limited by your creativity.
