A link submitted to a high ranking directory for low ranking page

    will submitting to a domain with a pr of 5 and the page that your link is on is a PR of 0 will it still count as being on a site with a PR of 5 or 0?

    you following me ?

    Each page will have its own unique rating and many will have the same rating, however if the site is rated 5 and all is ok with the site, then if there is ever another rating update the lower rated ones will experience an upward trend, assuming the home page either maintains or increases its rating :)

    As always, being listed on a pr0 page is not bad. As long as there is a page linking to it with good pr then that page already has pr but is just not visible to the public. Check out the directory and see if it has good links pointing to it, this will most likely tell you if the site will maintain or lose it's pr in the next update.
