Nice one! 6 years from your first ever website to make that money ... wish i had the patience Anyway spend your money wisely.
Scott, just caught your interesting post and wonder about the household name/website name idea. Have you created content that displays adsense ads for competitive companies/products?
I don't influence the adsense ads, the domains/content is specific and therefore yes you get competitiors advertising and the like & bidding can be high so it does tend to offer a high CPC, the content is just general info and all quite amicable so as stated its a friendly site about companies that just happens to rank for the company.
Haha, McFox is a funny guy, Laird Foxy of lowland Scotland My first website didnt make money and there was no adsense back then so that is why we had to cultivate other methods of income, I think people concentrate on MFA too much now. Oct 2003 I made $148.29 Jan 2005 I made $1370 It has really been the last 2 years.
I am more than impressed with what you have done! I am just curious to know weather you use images of this brand, or if the site is designed to make the user believe they are actually on the "official" site? Well done!
seriously inspirational - it's another one of those "why didn't i think of that!" moments! curious to know what content is used though!
Awesome man, good job! I've only had my sight for about four months, but I hope six years from now I'll be able to come back and tell a story like this! My current goal is to consistently get $1 a day lol.
hmmm I like your idea too bad every good business name is goneeeeeee now lol...oh well I aim to break 100 next month for the first time, its just a start of things for me
I'm curious, on the sites where you have the domain of a company not on the web, what do you put on those sites? Do you just put a phone number for the reral company and some info about their products? Please explain, and congrats!
I suspect he'd rather not. Posting what he's doing will only encourage others to work in his niche. If you find a profitable niche it's best to protect it.
