I had an idea for a forum but unfortunately I have NO experience scripting anything.. But don't you think it'd be cool? ---------------------------------- There is a forum currency called Cash. The whole game is forum-based. There is a forum shop to buy a house, items for the house, weapons, drugs, anything. There is a customized "guild" system to make it a "gang" system where users can make their own gangs and recruit members. It would cost money to make a gang therefore if you make one you can charge people to join. Obviously you'd have to give them something (probably) or else why would they join? Gangs can do gang battles.. THIS IS WHERE I NEED YOUR HELP. How would the battle work? :\ I'm confused about this part.. Winners get extra cash, etc. You have like an equipment menu and everything to equip guns and body armor and cars and stuff. You buy nice cars to show off etc. There's a huge marketplace to sell stuff you buy in the shop that you no longer want. There will be for sale like drugs weapons cars and other gang-related stuff It's basically like a big reward for posting in the forums ( a general discussion board ) and you get sweet items for your character (which u make at startup) Opinions? Ideas where to start? Interested if it's ever made? Suggestions/feedback?
Would be an interesting idea but you should take a look at what kingdomofloathing.com has done to build up visitors, thing about this is getting the initial visitors and letting it go viral.
wouldn't be at all like kingdom of loathing, not really an rpg, just a big idea to reward posters (cash per post)

Well I wouldn't actually make a game just a forum shop really but with custom items and a guild (gang) system
