I agree with the group-size Ed. I will shut it down after a few more...

On the forum, we've had a bunch of sign-ups, but most posts are yours or mine. Army was having trouble with his password (which I re-set today). I see he posted a bunch since then...

I LOVE the idea of a step-by-step manual. I think forum.compare4.us is the right place for it too. Maybe I should start a different Forum for that? I need to think about the best organization... I just know in my gut that's going to be a great resource for helping newer store operators as well as closing sign-up sales for you experienced guys...

Heres what I was able to find on CJ site, one thing they just don't seem to have a easy registration link? Just kept missing it, but heres some cut outs from their FAQ section.

Heres the sign up pages - https://signup.cj.com/member/publisherSignUp.do

How do publishers join the CJ Marketplace?
Publishers may create a Commission Junction account and join the CJ Marketplace at no cost. However, publishers must regularly generate activity within the network (within 90 days) in order to maintain an active account that Commission Junction supports. Publishers must have a valid Web address and email account to complete their applications. Publishers must join an advertiser's program (through the CJ Account Manager) before being able to use that advertiser's links on their Web sitesWhat is a publisher?
A publisher, also known as an affiliate or reseller, is an independent party that promotes products and services of an advertiser in exchange for a commission on leads or sales. A publisher displays an advertiser's ads, text links, or product links on their Web site, in e-mail campaigns, or in search listings. The publisher is paid a commission by the respective advertiser when a visitor takes a specific action such as filling out a form, subscribing to a service (both lead examples) or making a purchase (a sale).

Here is just a couple cut outs from the site, also sorry for poor quality of sentence structure in some of these threads, time has been tight.

Just a helpful bit of info.

I there is still room, I am interested in helping out.
As for the rss feeds, I would prefer to select an rss feed by hand per product category.
Then, even if not perfectly relevent, show one product side-by-side any article (better yet, floated in a div so that the article flows around it).

    pm me please,
    Laurie

Sure Ben.. You'll have it in 30 seconds...

BETA RELEASE ANNOUNCEMENT: Beta V 0.50 will move into production today. This includes the feature I've been promising many of you to be able to change the color theme for your store... Also included are a number of smaller features (such as adding an image to the header) and various bug fixes. Keep those support tickets coming!

Watch your email and http://Forum.compare4.us for details on this release.

    Cheers,

    Al

This is good news. Have been a bit busy the last two days, so did not test hat much and had no time to check out the forum. But I'm on my way now. ;)

Thanks Laurie... Your store config is UP... As soon as DNS is done, you're ready to start testing.. Please post issues and questions at http://Forum.Compare4.us. If you're sure it's a bug or you have a good enhancement suggestion, feel free to build a Support Ticket on the main ADMIN screen.

When you put it that way, how can I say no? ;-)

I think I said yesterday I wanted a few more people who were solid, with serious interest in making some money together... We've had a bunch sign-up today, but I reserve judgment until I see their stores configured...

PM sent... Hope to hear from you..

Doesn't look like I got an email for my forum password. Any chance you could send it or reset my forum account? The details I provided may have been different than what I used to register my store. Thanks

I had to submit a ticket to my host to get the Cname record changed. Hopefully that will happen soon.

PMed you a password... Even though the original password is no longer active, do check your spam filter at Gmail and let me know if the message actually came. I tested it, and mine was in the spam folder. But several other people have reported no email as well and I'd like to know if it's working before launch...

That's odd.. Should be fully editable.. One thing I've seen is that a bunch of people move the DNS name servers from where they first register - but then they go back to where they first registered to try to make these edits... Ain't gonna work.. You need to make the edits where you currently host your name servers.
