Some of you may know this already, but I just found out a few minutes ago when I was checking for backlinks from my article, so I just wanted to share this info with you so you wont get screwed like I did. If you are submitting articles to get backlinks (especially through a service) you may want to consider using 1 link to your site NOT in an anchor text link and just write it out like http://www.yourdomain. com Because I just looked up my article and there are MANY sites that apparantly did not accept the html from my anchor text and just had the words with no link! So there is no backlink for me and no way of even knowing my website for those who read the articles. So now I am including 1 http://www.yourdomain. com so they will at least have a way to get to my site and then 1 or 2 anchor text links to my site for those that accept it to produce a backlink. Keep that in mind if you are a newbie like me note: the article submission services are great.
im a noob to article submissions myself. I havent submitted any articles yet, thanks for the heads up. nice tip.
Thanks for the info! Do you know any sites where i can submit my articles?I really need inbound links.

Unfortunately there are many unscrupulous webmasters who will steal articles and publish them without the link. Yes, this is theft. Maybe some of them do it without realizing what they are doing, but most of them are well aware. I always try to include one plain url in the author resource, but I still find my articles published on websites with the entire author resource removed. Oh well, I suppose you can't win them all. If anyone writes articles about pet and animal subjects submit them to this pet and animal article directory and for cooking related articles there is a Recipe and cooking article directory
