A Google Friendly "Text-Link-Ads"???

    Hello all,

I own a website, it is no.1 for all the terms i want. :p

Now i just checked my site with a site value thing, and it said that:

If you were to sell 8 links on your site, you could generate $232/month in revenue for your website - text-link-ads.

    How great is that!?!

I'd love to earn that :D

But guess what -- i dont :( because google dosnt like text-link-ads, and i dont want to lose my no.1 position.

So... Does google allow any company that sells ads for you, or does google have a service that can pay you a fixed amount each month???

    Cheers for any help!

The only safe text link ads are the ad networks offered by search engines...Google AdWords, Yahoo Publisher Network, etc. Any other sold links could result in penalties.

You can only choose one of them. Google dont link TLA.
You can only choose either the money from TLA or the ranking from google

Don't tell to google if you sell link on your site :D.
The most important, I think all link have the same niche with yours.

As stated before, the site valuers can't really give you an accurate valuation.

Banner or no-follow ads are a better choice. I also get so many people asking for text links in my site but I politely refuse! Banner or no-follow may get you less cash but it will stay! Not like text-link-ads which will go if Google penalize you.

You can sell text links safely.

Just add the 'nofollow' tag to your links and make sure it's related to your website theme, however you still need to get interesting advertisers and manage the payment issues on your own ;)

You can make small banners like 20*20 and place an ALT

For example my keyword is Gallery :

     <a href="http://pic.jeddahbikers.com">
    <img src="http://www.jeddahbikers.com/up/sor.gif" alt="Gallery"></a>
    PHP:
I think such an advertisement will be safe , like a lot of webmasters does not really know what is "Nofollow" and they're showing (Direct Linking) Banners on their websites .

Especially if both sites are relevant content .

    Good luck

if you sell text links with the intention of passing PR (most buyers won't be interest in a nofollow link) then you should do it under the radar. either with a network that doesn't advertise the fact that links are sold or have a footprint like TLA, or setting up private sales.

It's easy to get away with if you don't advertise the fact a link is sold and the destination page is quality.

Wow how many posts do you need to respond to a thread? Anyway, Google specifically is against link selling, so you won't find any Google friendly options.
