I want to make money out of my blog with PR3. Is this PR good enough for me to start with?

As far as I know PR doesn't mean anything for you starting a blog. Start at PR0 if you like.

Rather start with a PR0 and build it to PR3! That way you will get you building backlinks for your site. Otherwise, a site with PR3 might be awarded for the niche say technology, and your blog is about women Pregnancy which you start on a technology related PR domain, you might end up getting a PR0 in the next update cause Google will understand that the previous PR is of no value in this pregnancy field.

PR is less important when blogging because you can build a committed following quickly with RSS feeds etc. The best way to build more traffic to you site is to find "Do Follow" blogs that are similar to your own and leave comments

    Yes Exactly

,only Traffic is important with your adsense, not pagerank value.

    Thanks

I thought as much when he told me that. PR generally doesn't have much weighting in anything unless you are looking to sell links on your site.

I personally think it's best to start from scratch and build up a good fan base rather than just diving in at high PR without any motivation to backlink extensively.

But there are money-making opportunities that require PR before they give you jobs right?
