Hi everybody, I found a keyword which has a high search volume and low competition. The keyword is also available as a domainname. Knowing this, i ask myself: Will people search for this keyword in google just to find a particular site or is it interessting for other sites also? (maybe hard to answer because you don't realy know the intention of the people that search for it) And another thing: How important is the keyword in a domainname? Great value or just a slight advance? Kind regards, Mxl
keyword in domain name is not as important as it used to be. Some say it is not important at all anymore. This is since some google updates. As for the keyword you have found, you need to ask yourself "is this the sort of phrase someone would search for because they want to fix a problem? Are they willing to spend money to find the answer? Can you help them?" If yes, then you may well be able to make a few dollars.
The thing is, the keyword itself don't realy explains a need or question ...but people search for it a lot. Will people just be searching it for fun, or to find a website's url? And is it either way interesting to create something with this keyword ...if the search volume is big will people click on other sites?
