a good host ... ?

    Im using lunarpages atm, my site keeps going down and to top it, they told me i am using too many resources and unless i fix this .. well u can figure out the rest. Anyways i need a cheap package, a host can load the site fast and is cheap thoughout.

    I have around 1500 uv daily, (video site) i dont think i need vps? ty 4 any suggestions.

    1,500 uv/day for a video site may require a VPS instead of shared. Are you hosting the videos, how long are they, how much bandwidth are you using, and finally on average how many users are accessing these videos on your site at one time?

    You may need a VPS with that many hits a day, make sure you know how to secure it as well.

    You can start off with a VPS from a reliable hosting provider and check if it's fine for your requirements.

    If not, you may choose a dedicated server as a dedicated server is always suggested when you wish to host a Video website as it requires a lot of resources.

    Why dont you just outsource the video hosting alone to specialized high-gigabyte (storage/bandwidth) services like Amazon s3, and steadyoffload.com. Then you can continue with shared hosting cost and avoiding cost of VPS.
