Hi, everyone! I am a golden girl from the Philippines and am starting a new career in mid-life as a writer. I have been a Human Resources Generalist in the physical world for the last 25 years or more. The internet or the virtual world is a new and confusing world for me, where I am trying to readjust my senses and my mind. Being in my 50's does not help much because my memory is not as it used to be. Learning is a slow process which is sometimes frustrating. So far, the forums I have been to has opened my eyes wider and has taxed my mind and my memory to its limits, so I have to take some time off to digest everything. Sometimes I have to copy the tips and posts which I find educational, so that I can remember them all or go back to them when I need to. That is, if I can remember where I put them. LOL How I wish this virtual world opened up when I was younger. A wish for a memory upgrade on my brain is just a wish... sigh! Please be tolerant if some of my posts or threads sound stupid or immaterial to the more expert minds. I come from a very different generation, so please understand that there are some trivial things that I may not understand. Thank you.

2gb memory sticks are very cheap nowadays. You can get 2! Make sure your Windows is a 64-bit one or it will only use up to 3gb of memory, and use the remaining 1gb for internal purposes. Just kidding! Welcome!
