    Now i understand this tattoo can be misunderstood by a uneducated individual , but i would like to get a Tattoo of the German eagle (non nazi related)

    The German Eagle emblem has been switched and changed many times. I don't like the latest cartoon looking version. So i was wondering if you guys here could help me pick find a good one. & yes i have browsed through Google.

    I was also wondering what your thoughts on getting this tattoo are. It will NOT have the Swastika on it whatsoever at all , but some people may see getting this as a sign of being for the wrong cause still. If you were I and wanted this tattoo would you get it.

    I plan to get it on my shoulder or upper back on the left side.

    There are quiet a few versions over the past 200 years please choose with good intent and hope not to see anyone posting the ones that are inappropriate.

    There about 10+ variations of the German Eagle Emblem. There is only one truly associated with Nazism.

    Clearly not im German. There are many Variations of the German Eagle Emblem Ranging from the Byzantine empire & Prussia all the way to now.

    The Nazi Emblem of the eagle has very little visual similarities to any of the other versions of the eagle used. There is a huge difference between the Nazi Emblem including the Swastika and the current and past ones.

    So please a serious answer without a HUGE bias opinion would be nice. I would expect more or this site.

    a German Eagle is what you said, and a German Eagle is associated with Nazism.

    i think the us eagle on federal emblems looks very similar to nazi eagle if you closely, as well as emporio armani eagle, so i wouldn't be worried,
    it is a very catchy design
