    Hi,

Just thought I would warn all my DP friends about a situation that arises almost on a daily basis.

The Belfast Telegraph (belfasttelegraph.co.uk), a popular Irish newspaper forgot to renew their domain and are about to see it drop into the expired domains void.

Here is their who is info:

    Relevant dates:
    Registered on: before Aug-1996
    Renewal date: 06-Jul-2007
    Last updated: 17-Oct-2007

    Registration status:
    Renewal required.

They have a 100,000 back-links and an Alexa rank of 60,000 and I can tell you right now that many domainers will be trying to grab this name, even for the benefit of the few days of traffic they can get out of it before the lawsuits ensue :)

Think about it, if it can happen to someone like that, why couldn't it happen to one of us.

So be careful, renew your domains, renew them a few years in advance, and set your auto renew feature on!

    Good Luck
