    Hi,

I am new to this forum and probably bringin up an old topic.

Is there any software out there that can check back links to your website from specific sites you want it to...

So if I wanted to check if a certain site has a link to mine, I could check this???

Also would changing the URL's of my website from .php extention to .html extentions using mod rewrite help???[/COLOR]

If I am understanding you right, you can use Chachi's free Reciprical Link Checker

If that tool doesn't do it for you, maybe just clarify from there a bit.

As far as Mod_Rewrite is concerned, the easy answer is Yes it will help if you have long numeric variables in the url. However, with enough links Google will spider and index these pages fine.

There are also other SEO benefits with Mod_Rewrite so although its not absolutely neccesary, it will nearly always help you.
