Hello Everybody (especially Webmasters and Web Developers). There is a situation you don't have to imagine, because you encounter it frequently (and I used to). You've built (and tested!) a website, but your customer says it doesn't display properly. You ask him for screenshots and he's right. Now you need to know what browser he's using. But... he doesn't know. What more - he doesn't know how to check it. So you need to explain, teach and you waste time. Now you can save some of your precious time with the tool I made. With http://yourbrowser.is/ you can set up your own browser checker and use it with your clients. Register, input your subdomain name (or even your own domain), upload your logo. Now send your customized URL (including any variables you like to be included in the report) to your client and ask him to click it. The URL could look like this: http://mybrand.yourbrowser.is/?customer=Great COmpany&contact=John Doe. When your customer clicks the link, you gonna receive a report on his browsing environment, consisting of the following data: - Browser make & version - Operating system - Mobile device (if present) - Screen resolution, Viewport size and Color depth - JavaScript, Flash and Cookies availability - User IP address and Geo-location - Facebook, Twitter, Google+ and Google login status - all the custom variables from the URL - full http headers. Yes, I know there are a few tools like this already. But this one is totally free - and offers some features the others don't. Check it out and let me know what you think. Thanks.
