A forum website idea

Hello ) I have an idea and i want to share it with you cause i think you are the bests in this area So i think to build a forum , but i need your help to choose the main area of the forum , my idea is to make a gaming forum , will be youtube good place to promote the forum ? And how i can bring users to it ?

 

i think the forum will promote itself with the topics inside it.
the more topics with SEO WORDS the more traffic you have and the more member you get

 

Gaming forum is nice. Check your competition with the keywords you are targeting and also make sure that you have sufficient marketing budget to start with, cause there are several hundreds of forums lying out there waiting for their domain expiration date to come and doing nothing.

 

Youtube videos, forum posting and buying advertising space on other gaming forums/websites.

You should learn SEO. Proper optimization can get traffic to ANY site

 

If you are going with a gaming forum, you should narrow the niche down a little or make this gaming forum like none of the other ones.

A gaming forum with great SEO work done to it will promote itself and will have a great amount of hits.. What type of gaming forum would you like to developed? Will it mainly focus on one console or multiple games / consoles? Also think of some programs / ways you can get your viewers / members to be able to spread the word and advertise.

Hi mate, you have a good idea, if you wish to promote the forum, you can easily start the free promotion at youtube, twitter, facebook or Digg quite easily. best of luck.

 

Don't forget about the website farms, website directories and such websites..., forum postings and don't forget about vimeo and the other video websites, if in your country you have a local video sharing website it is good choice too , for example in my country we have plenty local video sharing websites.

 

i have a idea about education forum where every student will get assignments, reports for free. i am working on it

 

I think there is lot's of edu forums and this is not a good idea...
