A foreing language link in English language site

    I need to promote French page of a Dating site. Will my French link have the same value If I add it to a English language Dating site or it is better to look for only French language sites.

    The matter is that I'm from Ukraine and do not understand quite well if Google distinguish French from English

    Please advise.

    I would say it's better in the language your advertising in... Other wise I think Google would find it being a spammy link... It's not terribly often when foreign language sites link each other if you know what I mean.

    traffic is more important. so if your visitors are french then french advertising have more value.

    No thats no good. Best to stay in your own language sites. If it's like a PR6,7,or 8 then I would do it.
