I think that the logo/banner at the top could do with a little investment, but I am too busy with other sites to give this the time it needs at the moment (except for content of course). Do the adverts along the top put people off do you think, or are they ok?
hi, nice site, can do linkexchanges too of course. simply upload your videos and link to them, free traffic in exchange
Are the adverts along the top a little OTT, or could they be left where they are? I'm not a fan of adverts, but like all forums of this type, a little revenue would help sustain it. We get quite a number of guests on a daily basis, but still not getting the numbers registering as yet - any tips on how to improve this? Our Google placement seems to be improving: #1 for Footie Forum #3 for Football Chat Forum Page 4 for Football Forum So I am putting this down as the major reason for a lot of our guests, plus those coming into the 'humour' sections via Stumble, etc. We have one thread (WAGS in Pictures) which has had over 3200 views already, so the traffic seems to be picking up. All thoughts appreciated
Nice desings website..I hope many people come to you forum...Can i ask you, Footie forum ( your admin ) ?
Yep, I am the administrator. Currently a joint venture between me and a mate, who is also a moderator. I'm not sure just where I want it to go, it was really a practise/learning experience, but I have found that it is great fun. I have another plan in mind, but might just see where I can take this one too Thanks all for the positive comments, I was quite pleased by how it came out myself. I will, in the next month or two, be getting a little piece of coding done to tailor the theme more towards what I want it to be.
I have been driving traffic to this site quite well lately, and a competition just launched has helped. Since I actually have been working on this, something else has come up and I am considering selling this forum. Does anyone have any experience on selling forums, etc - and if so, how much should I be asking ? I am still beavering away at it in the meantime, as I enjoy the subject tbh, and I would not want to leave it alone just because I am considering selling it on. If it sells, then well and good, if it doesn't, then I'm happy to continue it. Any thoughts ?
