Ok... first things first. I have spent thousands of hours researching SEO. For the most part everyone is sharing the same ideas (I wont list them all) the quistion I have is this... Everyone can agree that building backlinks is the key factor of generating traffic to your site. Now, most will argue that you should only build backlinks to your site in the same niche as your website or blog. Which means if I'm selling Cell Phones that I should only build quality high PR backlinks from other electronics websites. I would argue that if we where to build backlinks from non electronic high PR websites and blogs such as news related or sports niche sites. I would think as long as the backlinks are high PR that those backlinks would create juice to my site? So in turn, should I post on high PR non niche sites and high PR non niche blogs to create backlinks? Or should I concentrate my efforts on only niche related backlinks? Also... If I post my link on 500 forums ranging from PR0-PR8 will that give me quality backlinks? I still feel that quantity is just as good as quality! For instance If I post 10 responses in forums with my URL each day, is that 10 backlinks to my site? Any help would be appreciated!
