Hello, I'm doing a complete redesign of one of my sites. There's gonna be some link structure changes. The site is PR 2 now... is this gonna affect the PR? If yes, how? Keywords are pretty much the same. And I'm planning to use JavaScript tabs on the site. Is it better to use single .html pages for everything or I can do it with tabs (it's all gonna be in one file, JS is just gonna show/hide what I want)? SEO-wise... Thanks.
Hi Your seit redisgn won't affect the PR of the home page but will affect the PR of the others since GG assigns PR to each page according to its full URL, if you change the path to a page (name of the folders, name of the actual page), the PR which is displayed will start again at 0. But don't worry too much about it since the actual PR (the one GG is using for it SERP) will be up to date very quickly. Your JS question is a good one. It is fine to do that. I tested with the site : www.mayom-bois.com, it's ine French but the content doesn't matter for your point The text hidden in the tabs is well taken into account by GG. HTH Cheers
