A few questions

If I open up a new account for new domain, can I refer myself?

I read on another thread that accounts get closed down if the bot doesn't find the coop ads. What happens if you have an unreliable host? Or if one of your pages only half loads (and the bit with the coop ads fail)? I'm trying a new provider and don't know how how reliable they are.

Yes... you can refer yourself. Although it's pointless because the referral weight is taken AWAY from the account you referred, so you don't gain anything by doing that.

The system will email you if your site failed validation.

Thanks for replying Digital Point (are you Shawn?). The reason why I asked was because I'm trying out a new site based on Drupal (which may or may not do what I want it to). I have every intention of using your tool properly and would like to promote it, after seeing the results it has delivered. However, I may make mistakes from time to time.

Anyway, should some of my pages fail the backlink test, can I re-validate them once any errors have been rectified? Or will my account be banned permanently.?

    Cheers,

    fcmisc.

It's not banned, it just emails you letting you know your ads were stopped being delivered until it revalidates properly.
