A few questions before I sign up to Adsense

Hey,

I got just a few little questions to ask, before I go ahead and sign up to Google Adsense as I do not want to get rejected

Ok, is it true that Google are not accepting Wordpress blogs anymore?

And is it true that your website has to be on the net for 6 months, or does that only apply to websites made in India and China.

Google still accept wordpress blog. However, not so sure about the 6 month old requirement since i'm old adsense user

 

Google is still accepting new users. I think all sites are accepted which follow adsense 'Terms of Service'.

 

But what about the 6 months rule?

 

your web should be 6 months old and i recommend filling the form use any other web having good traffic or old the 1 year
yes i was rejected due to les then 6 months aged web and they mentioned in rejection notification

 

Mine blog z older than an yr but still i didn't got my adsense a/c.

I have blogs with adsense ads
I have got web-sites approved just after hosting it. I think this is still the case.
go to adsense web-site and check their TOS and Program Policies

So 6 months old definitely for sites from China and India, and possibly some other places too. It's important to have a site with original quality text content that doesn't look like it's still under construction. It has to adhere to Google's webmaster quality guidelines.

I don't know what you mean by accepting Wordpress blogs. If you have a free blog hosted at wordpress.com, you are not allowed to put your own advertising on it, so it cannot be used for Adsense. If you have your own domain and are using Wordpress for content management it shouldn't be any problem as long as you meet the other terms and conditions.

 

Double check that Google Terms and Conditions list to make absolutely sure you don't have any content that violates the TOS. Scour your site but good and don't use those cheesy hidden text tricks some try to use to boost search engine discovery. Those goofy old tricks will get you rejected for sure.
