A few questions about Yahoo PPC

I have just recently signed up with Yahoo's PPC program and am wondering what kind of cost some of you are paying per click? I am noticing around $0.52 per click which I feel is incredibly high. I have tried choosing targeted keywords which have low search volume (134-2,000 something) for example: wordpress web host, and don't show getting very many monthly clicks from them but I figured they would be cheaper click wise.. Am I wrong here?

Any advice? What should I be doing to get cheaper clicks and more clicks? any ideas? please help!! :)

$0.52 is high? It's all relative. I have keywords on Google where my CPC is nearly $3, and I still have 100% ROI.

Try only 3-4 keywords initially which you are interested in and check which drives more traffic.....if you set high search keywords with high CPC then you will never get hits for low CPC keywords...

also you can have 2 or more ad units for different keyword, with diff CPC and daily spending limit!

You just need to play around keywords for couple of days and then you will understand which keywords are better for your business!

    Good Luck!

Actually in that case google adwords shows more flexibility than ysm. Adwords provide more tools to analyze many factors and to make the real decision

High, but much less than AdWords for the same terms, and they've been sending quality traffic. $.15 for what costs $.50 on Google.

Google is more competitive that's why keywords are more expensive there.
