If many ad groups are with in a campaign, how does google rotate between the ad groups when it chooses what to display? I know how this works for multiple ads with a single group, but not for many groups in a campaign. If I were going to do a campaign on something like...oh..."tropical fruit". Would I be better off to have many ad groups targeting individual fruits, or better off using 1 ad group with some kind of dynamic keyword insertion to cover all bases? thanks!!!
You can have just about as many pay per click ad groups as you want within a campaign. I have never hit a limit. Your ad group are displayed based on the keywords within them. You don't want to put the same keyword in multiple ad groups. I recommend you create a separate ad group for each keyword so you can write the PPC ad copy to be specific to the keyword. If you create multiple ad groups versus one dynamic ones, your PPC ad copy will be much better. You won't be limited by the natural copy restrictions that come with the automation. Plus, I think people can tell the difference. If you want some help with writing your PPC ad copy, check out this website. Writing Your Pay Per Click Ads Good luck with it.
