A few newbie questions

I am new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. This is a great place full of tons of information. I feel a bit overwhelmed.

I do have a few questions.

I recently taught myself HTML & CSS and I do have a website up and running.

As I read the posts in this forum, I am starting to think my efforts may be in vain. Although my site has been up for only a week and just recently was indexed, I have affiliate links sprinkled throughout the site. I do have relevant content and product descriptions/reviews, etc.

My question is, should I cloak my affiliate links with a PHP script?

If I should, can someone point me in the right direction?

I can't get a definitive answer. Plus, I plan on adding an article a week interwoven with relevant Clickbank links throughout the page for certain keywords. I am also adding one product review per week, so, as you can imagine, I have a sense of urgency over the link cloaking question.

Lastly, if I should add a PHP jump script, how do I edit/create a robot.txt file?
