A few newb questions

What are Adwords and what is Adsense and what is the difference? Perhaps I missed that somewhere? If I did, please just redirect me to the thread which would best answer.

And, what are meta tags?

Adwords are displayed within Google search results, and within other peoples blogs and websites.

You can choose to display Adsense on your own blog or website.


Basically, it costs you money to use Adwords, and you can (potentially) make money with Adsense.

In basic terms META tags provide search engines with information to index your page. Some are more important than others - some are totally useless these days. I'll let someone who knows more explain further.

Adwords and Adsense are two sides of the same coin. People buy an Adwords advertisement then Google makes that advertisement available for someone else to sell as an Adsense advertisement.
