    thanks for appraisal...
may I know why are useless? As much as I know there is no difference between e--tickets, e-tickets and etickets on search engines.
In my opinion these names are easy to remember and could be easy developed...

Ok , thanks a lot ahkip...

I will develop one of them... I'm curious to see how easy or not will be to remember such a name...
You know...the funny thing is that you can't find many good 2 hyphen names available. Almost all the good keywords are registered :)

    Thanks again

They're fine, but they will need a good ranking on google to get a good sale price.

These are hard to get on google because double hyphens don't get indexed as much either, or is harder to be.

    Worth low $xx

Super low $xx, maybe just reg fee. Dude why dont you understand double hyphen is useless, try making a site, and the SITE will sell, the domain will still be worthless, it would be much better for you to buy some good domain that has some value too, then you might get a good price for the DOMAIN as well as your effort put in it.

Why is Double Hyphen useless?: Try spelling the name out, for example e--ad.com, what will you say? "E Hyphen Hyphen, no not one, two hyphens, Ad dot com" or probably "E Dash Dash Ad dot com". Now imagine a domain like youareawesome.com, you can just say "You are awesome dot com" without any Dash or Hyphen in between. I hope you get it

They are only useful if the domain is keyword rich to the site you are using it for.

    SELL THEM FOR LOW $XXX

Sorry for the caps but sell them as soon as possible if you get anything above reg fee because thats the most you will get.

Sell the domains dude, anything above reg fee and you sell em, I think you are lucky for getting a low $xxx offer for domain names like that.

Thanks Correctus, I really apreciate your advice, but as I stated before I would like to develop at least one of them first to see what's happen'. Also I want to place one of them for auction on Ebay. I'm sure most of the people don't know that you can add up to 2 hyphens in a domain. This might be a sort of novelty for most of them...

    Thanks again

Your not alone. I have hundreds of Double Hyphen Domains. I bought out the remaining L--L.com domains in April. A lot of people won't touch them but some people like them.

i-poker would easily sell for thousands and i--poker selling for below reg fee doesn't sit with me.

I wouldn't touch them personally. Their value comes with development alone. (granted this is the case with many) Good luck though, I will never knock people who try and go against the grain.
    Best wishes,

Over 50 domains. Not sure off hand. I keep my prices less than $96 and so they haven't had a huge mark up but I'm definately happy with my sales. The sales over the past couple of months is enough for me to be convinced that I will renew all that haven't sold in April next year including L--N.com, N--L.com and N--N.com. I'm also convinced that if I see one that has dropped than I would buy it straight away. If you know of anyone with one that they don't want, I will pay more than reg fee for it.

My reasoning behind purchasing them was based on the current decreasing trend of available 4 letter domain names. Historical evidence from the values of 3 character domain names shows that after the 3 letter domains ran out, the 3 character domains with one hyphen ran out before the 3 character names with at least one number and at least one letter.

I therefore concluded that when the 4 letter domain names run out, (Common predictions are late this year or early next year) the 4 character names with at least one hyphen will start to run out quickly. To me the 4 letter names with 2 hyphens are better than those with one. There is a lot of scope as every two letter combination is initials for some names.

    There is:
    ~450 thousand 4 letter domains
~90 thousand 4 character domains with one hyphen
    1296 4-character names with 2 hyphens
and ~ 1.1 million other 4 character names

But dude, this post is irrelevant, as the domains here are NOT four lettered.
