A few CPM questions...

How much (minimum CPM bid) is usually enough for you ad to display? I have found a few sites and bid a few pennies over the minimum CPM. It does not look like these sites display CMP ads at the moment anyway. Do you think its going to be enough?

Also... How do i know when the ads get approved? If they wont show after a few days is there a way to find out whether my CPM bid is too low or they simply have not been approved yet?

    Thanks!

It varies from site to site. CPM ads compete with CPC ads so if you're familiar with AdSense you probably have an idea of what markets are competitive and which are not.

That's one of the shitty aspects of CPM ads...you don't know. I've seen approvals (based on when ads actually started running) take 1 - 5 days. To make it even a bit more frustrating, if your ad is approved but your CPM is too low your ad won't run.

    I usually....

    1) Create ad - target sites - set bid
    2) Wait 3 days.
    3) Up bid if no impressions have been generated
    4) Wait 1 day
    5) Up bid if no impressions have been generated
    6) Wait 1 day

    And so on.
